Private key receovery issues

Hyperspace Support Team,

I have been trying to recover my private key, but this is the second time I am experiencing this issue. I was actively mining on the project when my Chrome browser crashed. After refreshing my Hyperspace dashboard, I noticed that a new public and private key had been generated, which was different from my original one.

I had encountered a similar issue before, where I had to start from scratch. This time, I made sure to save my original private key using a .pem file. However, when I attempt to import it, I receive errors such as “invalid format” or “invalid string/character”.

I have tried multiple times to ensure the .pem file is correctly formatted, but I am still unable to import my previous private key. Could you please assist me in recovering my original account? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to your support.

hey man, I am not hyperspace support team but just asking how did you get your *pem file in the first place ?
If you just copied your pk in browser node key management page then you can directly paste that key and hit import, no need to create a pem file to store it.
