at which step you find its confusing ?
Earning points, and if my nodes actually has run or not
Desktop app or Cli ?
If cli then type aios-cli hive points to query your points.
Desktop sir, do u know how ?
Then keep the node online < green button switched on>, if you have nvidia card then install cuda version.

I also have a problem, it is working for two days in a row, but still 0 points. I have a GPU, so I downloaded a cuda version (desktop, windows). I have 128gb of ram, but it shows me tier 5 with 1.8gb memory. Do I need to do something besides just having this app installed and running to get points?

right now it seems tier displays incorrect, however, as long as your node getting points then it is ok.
I can give a link to an unofficial instruction. Only it is in Russian.
