Points when running on CPU

Hey guys, I have set my aios-cli node on Ubuntu for CPU using a Docker image from GitHub. I have set it up to use hf:TheBloke/Mistral-7B-Instruct-v0.1-GGUF:mistral-7b-instruct-v0.1.Q4_K_S.gguf & hf:second-state/Gemma-2b-it-GGUF:gemma-2b-it-Q4_K_M.gguf models.

It infers just fine, albeit much slower compared to a GPU setup, but it works! I have generated my own Base58 key, imported the key successfully, logged in & connected to Hive, so my question: how long does it take to start receiving points?

Not sure if I did the thing right but I have chosen tier 5 for my system & multiplier set itself to 1.00. It’s gonna use 2 gigs from my RAM, I suppose – am I right?

Well, I asked & I got an answer. It turns out that on tier 5 my Ryzen 9 3900 (12-Core) got about 20 points per hours inferring for 2 models I mentioned above. Well, better than nothing =)

Hi @i_am_scray thank you for sharing, more context on points here: https://flops.hyper.space/

Note the system runs a GPU liveness check and rewards nodes with points (hence why the multiplier will increase for GPU hardware)
